In the context of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, iMMAP has launched the COVID-19 Situational Analysis Project across six countries. Through Secondary Data Review, the project aims to strengthen assessment and analysis capacities in countries affected by humanitarian crises and the COVID-19 pandemic by addressing challenges in data and information comprehensiveness, consistency, and value.

As part of the project’s efforts to increase the visibility of its analysis and improve access to the insights generated, we are seeking a UX/UI Designer to support us in designing wireframes for the projects’ website page and ensuring the online user experience is optimized.

Description of Duties

  • Work closely with the project team to gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and wireframes

  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields

  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)

  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

  • Create user stories, personas, and storyboards

  • Present and communicate insights in order to help shape long-term product strategy

  • Adhere to iMMAP style standards on fonts, colors and images

  • Accompany the project team throughout the implementation of the project


  • Website wireframes, Prototype or Click-dummy

  • User stories, personas and storyboards

  • Design elements for the project (logo, images, sketches, etc)


· Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role

· Portfolio of design projects

· Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)

· Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

· Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

· Good time-management skills

· BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
