RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with Creative Director, Art Director and Account Executive
• Take the lead on projects, overseeing other designers and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, offering feedback, sharing best practices, and helping them develop their skills
• Staying up-to-date with design trends
• Able to do research based on brief given
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Develop a range of graphics & layouts using design software
• Present idea concepts by submitting rough layouts for approval
• Communicating with clients about layout & design
• Test graphics across various media
• Prepare finished art by operating necessary equipment & software
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Reviewing final layouts & suggesting improvements when necessary
• Self-motivated to develop design skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience / 5 years of experience in Graphic Design is preferable
• In-depth knowledge of design software & technologies eg: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Procreate
• Passionate about Branding, Editorial & Packaging
• Demonstrate strong graphic design, layout & illustrations skill
• A keen eye for aesthetics & visual composition
• Acute attention to detail
• Artistic & creative thinking
• Innovative in nature
• Possess great leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Team oriented
• Able to grasp a firm understanding of job briefs while able to work independently & methodically
• Able to work under pressure
• Versatile & adaptable
• Ability to manage deadlines
• Having 3D & multimedia skills are a plus

OFFICE LOCATIONS

* Headquarter in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

* Hires in West Malaysia/East Malaysia (excluding KK) have the flexibility to work remotely, whereas KK hires are expected to be based in the office.
