AAN Associates is looking for a National Emergency Response Specialist for an upcoming assignment in Yemen. The National Emergency Response Specialist is expected to assist the Evaluation Team Lead in delegated assignment management functions such as Literature Review, Evaluation Methodology design, Tools Development, Pre-testing and Finalization, Field Data Collection, Consolidation, Analysis, and Report Writing.

Following are the requirements to apply for the position:

  • Must have a degree in Humanitarian Emergencies, Public Health, Water Engineering or any other related field
  • Must have at least 7 years minimum experience in analysing emergency programming across multiple emergency contexts, specifically with RRMs
  • Understanding of Humanitarian context with background in the fields of Health, Nutrition and WASH will be an asset
  • Prior experience with MSP is an added asset.
  • Ability to write reports clearly and concisely.
  • Fluency (oral and written) in Arabic and English is mandatory
  • Experience working across the Middle East
  • Strong analytical skills to compile and consolidate a variety of inputs and produce concise and easy-to-understand documents
  • Data collection (both quantitative and qualitative) and data analysis experience is plus!
