We like to deeply understand the nuances & excruciating details of the systems we are building on top of – whether it be legal frameworks & regs, or APIs and 3rd party data-providers. No work is beneath any of us – from the CEO to our compliance lead – we get excited to audit our database to check each cell to ensure that they are correct and to pick up customer support calls.

Job Description

At Aven, we believe video is the king of content. It is engaging and effective. We want to lean into video as our primary storytelling medium for growth and marketing by bringing on a full-time, in-house video creative and producer. In this role, you will be at the heart of bringing our content, campaigns, and ideas to life in video format. We are looking for someone who can take a project from campaign strategy to final execution ? from conceptualization to shooting to post-production. You will collaborate cross-functionally (design, engineering, finance, and legal) to design and develop and launch these campaigns. We are looking for someone with incredible talent and the desire to push our team’s creative and growth strategies. We are looking for someone to help define how we can best use video to capture and tell our story so that people want to have an Aven card.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with all the necessary people, teams, and elements that make up the production

  • Manage, produce, shoot, and edit campaigns from start to finish. 

  • Ability to tackle shots from start to finish, including roto, tracking, paint, keying, and creating mattes as required

  • Designing and implementing the look and feel of Aven’s brand

  • Executing fully animated assets, such as UI content, title treatments, and GIFs

  • Quality assurance of visuals and correcting errors before the final composition

  • Launching, learning, and iterating on campaigns as we grow our brand and company

  • Helping define our unique and effective storytelling strategy 

Qualification:

You have:

  • 4+ years of experience working in video production

  • Strong experience producing video and motion graphics (contcepting, shooting, editing, publishing)

  • Strong typographic and animation skills 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong communication and time management skills, and the ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to work in a team as well as individually with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and consistency

  • Strong artistic skills

  • Problem-solving skills, especially technical issues

  • Expertise with design and video tools

  • Can  work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team
