Founders Media is an independent media company showcasing real stories about people, culture, and the future of the Middle East. Made by and for a generation raised on the internet. Founders Media specializes in creative and strategic consulting services that identify and implement solutions through a full-service agency. In addition, Founders Media operates WAYA, a digital editorial business platform that provides engaging, actionable, and informative content covering the MENA Region. Our focus areas include startups, real estate, money markets, technology, and the future of our Region.
- Create visually appealing graphics for various media platforms, including digital, print, and broadcast, that align with our and our clients’ brand guidelines
- Collaborate with the creative team to design graphics for promotional materials, social media posts, advertisements, and event collateral
- Assist in maintaining and evolving the visual identity of Founders Media and WAYA, ensuring consistency across all design material
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and content projects
Team and Leadership:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business objectives and aligning our services to meet and exceed their expectations
- Take part in and foster a creative and collaborative work environment
- Organize and maintain design files and assets for easy access and future reference
- Working with partners, specialists, and freelancers as required
Business and Communication Finesse:
- Actively seek feedback from seniors and team members and make revisions accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure that our company always remains at the forefront of innovation
- Constantly learning and becoming aware of topics and trends
- Liaise with editors, writers, producers, content creators, graphic designers, and talent and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and partners
- Contribute to the development, realization, and evaluation of broader company and departmental initiatives
- Understanding and embracing modern technologies (AI), social platforms, and the digital world
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or relevant design experience)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively present and explain design concepts
- A portfolio showcasing your graphic design work is required
This is a full-time position that requires working at least 40 hours per week in the office.
