Compensation: $51,700 to $60,500, annualized

About the position:

The Americares People and Talent department continuously creates, empowers, and supports the thriving global team that supports our global communities. We act as a catalyst to enable all Americares people to contribute at optimum levels toward the success of our humanitarian and public health program objectives. We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join our team to support all talent acquisition needs throughout the organization, locally and globally, as Americares continues to expand its work across the globe.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop a deep understand of hiring needs for open positions
  • Coach and support staff to increase knowledge, understanding, and compliance in recruiting best practices
  • Lead all aspects of recruitment for 10-15 requisitions simultaneously, including:
  • Defining job requirements and responsibilities
  • Actively sourcing top talent from a variety of channels/resources
  • Screening resumes
  • Conducting and coordinating virtual interviews
  • Creating best practice assessments for how interviews and competency evaluations are integrated in the process.
  • Provide all candidates with a positive equitable, inclusive, and supported experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Document and analyze recruitment data to improve the quality and inclusiveness of our recruitment processes and experience.

We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You have 3-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience. Candidates with global recruitment experience or experience in a humanitarian aid organization will be given preference.
  • You have experience working with global teams at all levels, and have demonstrated strong cultural awareness and humility.
  • You have previous experience with applicant tracking systems (Cornerstone OnDemand a plus, or a demonstrated ability to learn and implement an understanding of new systems quickly)
  • You have results and experience in tracking recruitment metrics, including quality of hire.
  • You are passionate about advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the recruitment lifecycle, and are always looking for ways to combat bias at all levels.
  • You are highly organized with an excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize based on rapidly changing needs
  • You have a demonstrated customer-service focused orientation, both to internal stakeholders and external candidates
  • You are an effective problem solver and innovate to get work done
  • You are fluent in Spanish (highly preferred)
  • You have US work authorization (required)
